Thank you for visiting our website. So, the question is "Why a Catholic education?" At OLPH, we believe in fully developing the whole character of a person -- spiritually, intellectually, socially, emotionally, morally, and physically.
To wit, Spiritually through our Catholic identity which is integrated into the classroom; Intellectually by learning basic skills -- Religion, literature, English, writing, mathematics, language arts, science, social studies, Spanish, music, art, and technology -- and achieving the highest development possible; Socially, Emotionally, and Morally by living out Luke’s Gospel message, "Of whom much is given, much is expected," and partnering with the OLPH community and its ministries as well the neighboring cities; and Physically through our actions upon the fields of friendly strife.
As educators, one of our desires is to 'put others first.' That is what our staff & facutloy do on a daily basis. Personally, my faith and educational foundation were ingrained in me (and my eight siblings) as a product of twelve years of Catholic schooling and my devout Catholic parents for whom I am forever thankful.
Lastly, through Catholic schools, we are able to integrate faith, family, flag, friends, and fun in our lives. We do that here every day at OLPH. Our hope is that you will also be a part of it.
